Outreach in Pasir Lundu

It's been an awesome week. Just after 2 days of resting I was back to camp again. This time, it's somewhere nearer, which is in Pasir Ulu, Lundu. In case some of you have never heard it before, it's a village/kampong on the way to Kampung Biawak. The border or Indonesia is just 8 minutes apart from it. Too bad we didn’t get the chance to visit the border. It’s said to have lots of hawker shops and shop houses. I went there as usual with the same person except this time there’s people from New Zealand and from the MVDoulos. It’s a big boat ship, which Jasper insists on calling it, selling books from country to country. It stopped by in Kuching at the Sim Kheng Hong’s Port. Our church organised a mural painting competition where different schools came together and each team painted two planks of plywood. One of our school team won the first place!! Anyways, it’s a great chance to do it first time in my life.

Back to the camp, it’s an outreach in the Pasir Ulu’s church where they try to reach out to the drug and alcoholic addicts there. The people there were simply kind. The hospitality of the whole community is just so heart warming. It’s a sad thing that we had to leave the place after the camp.

There’s dozens of dogs there, which were so skinny!

They have their own zoo… Haha!

I saw Yan Hui and Delia inside!!

That’s the old church, where they worshipped before the new one was built by the New Zealanders years ago.

The New Zealand team that followed us was crazy, especially Scott, who is a policeman. He was sliding down the steep covered with mat with flowing water and detergent.

Daia, for optimum result of slipperiness

GO NOW!! If not, you will taste my rotan!

Guess what, his back was injured by the stones and the sands on the mat when he was sliding down. And it bled.

Lesson #1, never play this kinda stuff

And this is Pastor Daniel Paikea who’s a funny man. He’s so different that you wouldn’t notice he’s a pastor.

cleaning up the mess

Jolina with her newly found daughter

The kids were following her every where and she’s like so happy. Haha…

so sweet hor… haha…

We went to Sematan Beach right after that. Daniel decided to be a Sonia for once.

Please don’t, I’m feeling shy……

I'm so happy.. hahahahaha

look at me one more time and I'll have you finish up the ice-cream!

Get what I'm trying to say about him in the front part?

Hahaha…. Happy moments are passing in a quick pace.
Christmas is coming, and much should be expected during the festive season. I hope it’d not be a lonely Christmas again. The MVDoulos crews have to celebrate a literally “hot” Christmas without the snow. Merry Christmas in another 10 days!! Weeee`~ and someone's birthday is today! 15th December! She's officially 17 this year, but too bad she's now in Taiwan. What a special birthday she's having. We've been friends for so many years and it shall go on. Tonyong, HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY!! =D
